Pocket Monster, commonly known as Pokémon, is a multimedia franchise originating from Japan. Created by Satoshi Tajiri and Ken Sugimori, it includes video games, trading card games, animated TV series, movies, and more. Players capture and train creatures called Pokémon to battle each other for sport and adventure.
